Peter considers this his most important class! Oriental Acupressure is a simple and profoundly effective healing art founded on the concept that the flow of life force energy (chi) through the body provides healthy vitality.
Essential to our self-reliance at Reevis Mountain is the ability to take care of ourselves and each other with the simple yet profoundly effective art of touch healing. We have used it to treat viruses, heart attacks, anaphylactic shock, and much more. Oriental Acupressure (Jin Shin Jyutsu) originated as a family folk art for self-healing and is rooted in the awareness that the body can heal itself of most ailments given the free flow of internal energy. Acupressure involves harmonizing pulses at certain points in the body in order to relieve restrictions in the movement of chi. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the philosophy of Oriental Acupressure (understanding your own body for the first time), how to find meridians and pulse points, pulse diagnosis, how to give treatments, and first aid. Includes Bigfoot’s Book of Ancient Natural Remedies.
Peter's books and remedies will be for sale.
This class will take place at the San Center in central Phoenix. Saturday, January 11th, 2024, 8:00am - 5:00pm AND Sunday, January 12, 2025, 9:00am - 1:00pm
