One day class out in the desert near the park with Peter Bigfoot , wild plants of many uses
The study of wild plants and their uses is some of the most important, practical, and essential knowledge for survival and wellness. In this class, we meet out in nature where the plants grow. You’ll see each plant in its natural environment, learn about it from an expert, pick a sample, feel its texture, smell it, and even taste some. You’ll also receive a copy of Useful Wild Western Plants by Peter Bigfoot that contains info on 200+ medicinal and edible plants plus blank pages to add actual samples that will be gathered throughout the class. By the end, you’ll have your own personalized reference book to take home for future use.
Lost Dutchman State Park Area - an easy landmark to find - on Apache Trail, AZ Hwy 88. Meeting place at the parking area next the big Tonto National Forest sign on the right , a short distance PAST the entrance to the park
Meet at 8:45 AM and class starts at 9:00 AM ----till 3:30 PM
Bring a sack lunch, something to drink, dress for the weather and a hat for sure & Outdoor shoes.
$150 you will receive a special herb study book and Peter Bigfoot for the whole day .
This class is NOT held in the park. The name Lost Dutchman Park is just to have a meeting place . Go just a short distance PAST the park entrance to the large Tonto National Forest sign on the right . Park there .
