Reevis Mountain School's Community Principles
Joining Together to Create
Reevis is a place of life and love where we join together in agreement to realize our fullest potential. We express our joy in life and are open to all its possibilities. The following Principles reflect our aspirations and approach to daily living.
- Be sovereign. Be honest and true to self. Exercise free choice and free will.
- Fear is merely false expectation resulting from the absence of love and understanding.
- Forgive self and others. Have compassion. Seek to understand.
- Attitude shapes the experience.
- Desire to be filled with the joy of living.
- Lighten up!! Laughter heals and makes life more fun.
- Be for what is positive rather than against what is negative. What is focused on expands. What we spend our time thinking about creates our reality.
- Seek to be in harmony with all things. Create win-win-win situations.
- Be patient. Trust in the perfection of the process.
- Be clean and orderly.
- Be fully present in the moment.
- Listen within; knowingness is available to all. If we don't go within, we go without.
- Be clear of our motives.
- Be committed to developing open, clear communication.
- Act and speak with love.
- Speak and live truth. Be aware of our feelings, they are all valid experiences. State our feelings honestly, and own them.
- Follow through on commitments (including RMS guidelines) or renegotiate.
- Be responsible for our thoughts, choices, and actions. Be aware of consequences.
- All are creators of their experience and co-creators of the world. No one is a victim, there are no enemies.
- A successful life is like gardening: planting seeds and pulling weeds.
- Be and express total non-judgmental, unconditional love and allowance for self and all others.
- Be the full unlimited expression of our own Eternal Divinity, and live what you love.
"I release limited thoughts about my being and desire to remember and understand my Oneness with the Creative Source. I allow change with no judgment on events, self, or others. I allow the old to pass away; I embrace the new. I am willing to step out, to be different, to be outrageous, to risk. I am open to experiencing life fully and to being joyous. I thank myself."
